Information:Between 2000 and 2004, Buick 6, the band that contained both James Summerfield and members of Friends of the Stars issued 7″ singles on Winnebago Records and Bearos Records which were picked up by John Peel and lead to airplay and two sessions. A bit of bad luck and some poor decisions meant the band imploded before it could release it’s first LP but they nevertheless we’re profilic writers and recorded various sessions in their 4 years. This compilation of 19 Studio tracks neatly summarises their output and is intended to site alongside a second, companion volume of Home Recordings, Demos and Out-Takes (COMIN013). For two of Commercially Inviable’s artists, this is where it all started.
